The Future of Conservation Starts Here.
We will never achieve long-term conservation goals without meaningfully engaging and empowering young people to lead. Since 2015, CoalitionWILD has taken on an action-driven role in youth development, focusing on equipping young leaders to move conservation forward. Through mentorship, capacity building, skills-based programming, and global network connections, we help youth turn commitment into impact and ensure their voices are not only heard, but influential in shaping the future of conservation.
CoalitionWILD was born in 2013 at the 10th World Wilderness Congress from this realization: youth leadership in conservation was not just underrepresented, it was under-resourced. Initially designed as a volunteer movement to connect rising leaders passionate about the planet, it quickly became clear that passion alone was not enough. Young people needed tangible tools, sustained mentorship, and pathways to take action in their own communities, where locally led work delivers the greatest global conservation impact.

EXCELerator PROGRAM
The EXCELerator program is a transformative six-month program empowering emerging environmental leaders with the tools, training, and confidence to lead real-world action for the planet.
The 2027 edition of the EXCELerator program is currently accepting applicants and will run from January 7 to July 1, 2027.
Global Mentorship Program
A six-month virtual mentorship program aimed at building collaborative and cross-generational relationships between emerging young conservation leaders and senior conservation professionals.
Capacity Building Workshops
CoalitionWILD collaborates with programs and organizations globally to provide their networks with youth trainings, tailored mentorship and facilitated skill building workshops.
APPLY TO THE 2027 EXCELerator PROGRAM
You can apply to either the EXCELerator LIVE program, featuring bi-weekly live sessions, personalized tasks and templates to help advance your project, and one-on-one support, or the EXCELerator FLEX program, a self-paced option with pre-recorded sessions and a lighter time commitment for those who need greater flexibility and are balancing the program with work, studies, family, or other commitments.
