Sinclair Vincent, To Speak At 12th World Wilderness Congress In August
The organizers and hosts of the 12th World Wilderness Congress are excited to announce that Sinclair Vincent will speak at the Congress on Tuesday, August 27th!

As Senior Director of Sustainable Development Program Development & Innovation, Sinclair oversees the strategy, direction, and evolution of Verra’s suite of programs focused on sustainable development, including the Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard; the Climate, Community & Biodiversity Standards; and the Plastic Waste Reduction Standard.
Sinclair leads the development of Verra’s SD VISta Nature Framework to scale investment in biodiversity conservation globally. She also leads the market development for Verra’s sustainable development programs, including corporate, commercial, and government engagement, to ensure these programs help users set and meet increasingly ambitious environmental and social goals.
The 12th World Wilderness Congress (WILD12) is a global forum to coordinate and mobilize the protection of Earth’s remaining wilderness and wild places. It convenes thousands of delegates from around the world approximately every 4 years to seek and agree upon new actions and principles in the stewardship of Earth. WILD12 is hosted by the Oceti Sakowin on behalf of the Sicangu Lakota Treaty Council, and will place a special emphasis on reinterpreting wilderness through Indigenous perspectives.
